Woman to Woman

This space was created because I wanted women to remember something important:

Power is not something we earn. It is something we already possess.

So many of us have spent years giving pieces of ourselves away. We adjusted to fit expectations. We stayed quiet to keep the peace. We dimmed our light so others could feel comfortable around us.

And after a while, we almost forgot what our own power felt like.

As young girls, many of us were taught, often without words, to shrink ourselves. To be agreeable. To carry everyone else's emotions. To nurture everyone except ourselves.

Those lessons followed us into womanhood.

We became caretakers, peacemakers, and people pleasers. We learned how to survive while quietly losing touch with our own reflection.

But our power never truly disappears.

It waits beneath the layers of fear, disappointment, expectation, and self-doubt. Patiently waiting for us to remember who we are.

That is why this journal matters to me.

I want women to know that their voice matters. Their truth matters. Their presence matters. We do not have to wait for permission to take up space in this world.

Together, we rise. One voice. One story. One woman at a time.

And every time a woman chooses herself, speaks honestly, heals openly, or walks confidently in her truth, another woman feels permission to do the same.

That is how change begins.
